When I visited Ghana in January of this year, one of my first visits was to meet Mrs Araba Ata Sam, the Lay President of the Methodist Church Ghana. She made us most welcome at what was the start of a memorable week in Ghana. On Tuesday of this week I was able to welcome the Lay President to Methodist Church House, as part of a visit she is making to Britain. She was given a tour of the building and had the opportunity to meet with three of the Strategic Leaders (Chris Elliott, John Ellis and Mark Wakelin), World Church Relationships staff and other members of the Connexional Team.Later this week she will be joined by Ghana's Presiding Bishop, who will be attending the All Partners' Consultation taking place prior to our Conference.
