Sheffield
In Sheffield I spent a fascinating day at Parson's Cross. After sharing prayer and a Quiet Space at The Cross at Yew Lane, the District Chair and I got creative in their Art Therapy Room, where I tried my hand at felting. Though I say it myself, I produced a fabulous vibrant sunset picture. I can't wait to try it again.
Then it was off to Mount Tabor Methodist Church, of the inspiring Parson's Cross Initiative where we took part in a 'What makes a Good Society' discussion, and produced some more ideas to post on the wall with some they already had.
On the Sunday I preached at Bakewell Methodist Church and in the evening at Chesterfield; a District Celebration on the Ministry of the Whole People of God. A subject dear to my heart.
